Karen is the Managing Director and from a nursing background. Karen’s clients have found that they feel at ease knowing that she has a natural affinity and broad knowledge of animals, animal welfare and care, as well as a healthy working partnership with a number of veterinary practices. A lifelong cat owner and cat rescuer, Karen is well equipped to look after your feline friend, from pampered pedigree princesses to loveable family moggies.
Craig is a Home Office Approved dog handler and acknowledges his employer in granting him a five year sabbatical the time allowing him to continue his passion in studying canine behaviour. In November 2009 Craig graduated from Bishops Burton College FdSc (Canine Behaviour and Training) and is currently a post graduate student (Canine Research) within the Geophysics department at Keele University. Craig has developed partnerships with Stoke, Stafford and South Staffordshire College as a guest lecturer delivering talks on canine behaviour, kennel management and dogs in industry. He is also a 1-2-1 dog coach, member of the British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers (BIPDT) and part/fully trains various specialist tactical dogs for professional use.
Quintessential Quarters has five qualified kennel technicians to help in the smooth running of the business as well as university and college placement students to assist in the day to day running of the facilities.
Craig and Karen get involved in the daily activities around the kennels and encourage feedback, innovation and creativity in order to promote animal welfare and peace of mind.
